Mr. Dennis A. Uy is an accomplished entrepreneur and management executive with over 20 years of experience and a strong track record of building and leading businesses to profit and growth.

He is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of UDENNA Corporation, his holding company with a diversified business portfolio that includes interests in petroleum retail and distribution, shipping and logistics, real estate development, education, tourism, and services, among others.

Mr. Uy has since listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange two subsidiaries, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. (PPPI) and Chelsea Logistics Holdings Corp. (CLC), which have become acknowledged independent leaders in their fields.

Phoenix Petroleum is today the third biggest oil company after just over a decade in operation. Chelsea Logistics is now a dominant player in the shipping and logistics industry with UDENNA’s acquisition of a major stake in the publicly-listed 2GO Group, the country’s leading shipping and logistics provider, where Mr. Uy is also now Chairman and CEO.

His Lapu-Lapu Leisure Mactan, a subsidiary of UDENNA Development Corporation, has broken ground for the $300-million Emerald, a prime beachfront integrated resort and casino in Mactan, Cebu that will open its doors in 2020.

UDENNA is also developing the 177-hectare Clark Global City as the new center of business and lifestyle in Luzon.

Mr. Uy is Chairman of the Phoenix Philippines Foundation and Udenna Foundation, which are actively engaged in community projects in education, environment, health, and outreach. On July 2017, UDENNA Corp. launched the LIFE Fund with an initial funding of P100-million to help soldiers and their families in conflict-ridden Marawi City, in aid of their Livelihood, Independence, Family, and Education.

Mr. Uy has been recognized by various award-giving bodies for his leadership and management. These awards include the ASEAN Business Awards’ Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017; MVP Bossing Award in 2016; Agora Award for Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurship-Large Scale in 2013; Datu Bago Award in 2013 from the City Government of Davao; and finalist to the CNBC Asia Business Leaders Award from 2011 to 2013.

Mr. Uy is the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in the Philippines since November 2011. He was also appointed Presidential Adviser on Sports in 2016.

Mr. Uy was born and raised in Davao City, and is a graduate of De La Salle University in Manila with a degree in Business Management.
